The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is an autonomous organisation, established under an umbrella of ASEAN and the mandate of Ministers responsible for higher education in ASEAN countries, dealing with the promotion of human resource development in the field of higher education within ASEAN and with its dialogue partners.
The growing trend of higher education system towards internationalisation, coupled with the increasing demand from universities in ASEAN region to raise their programmes’ recognition and quality improvement, it has led to elevate the importance of developing a robust QA system in higher education institutions. Since 1998, AUN-QA System has played a key role in the development of a harmonized QA system among the member universities, as well as close cooperation with European partners. To strengthen QA development and enhance technical skills among universities in ASEAN, the AUN Secretariat is ready to move forward this activity by sharing the resources and experiences to uplift QA system and also to expand the QA network to non- member universities.
To continue her mission, the AUN Secretariat has announced the AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Programme Assessment (4-DayCourse) on 3 – 6 April 2018 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. This comprehensive programme is meant for professionals who are in charge of quality assurance at programme and/or institutional level from universities in the region.
